Macy’s China Limited , Executive Vice President and Managing Director
Dustin has worked for Macy’s for 12 years. His career in Fashion started at age 17 with a scholarship from a major US apparel manufacturer, Tropical Sportswear International, now Perry Ellis International. From that experience, Dustin spent several years in Europe and returned to the US to become a small business owner. He took over a small Men’s Store called The Kater Shop in 2002 and opened his first two online businesses in 2003. In 2005 Dustin realized he wanted to have more of an impact in the apparel industry and wanted Fortune 500 experience. At this time he sold his company and joined Macy’s, Inc.
Since joining Macy’s, Dustin has had 11 different positions. He has had experience across most of Macy’s major business functions, from Sourcing and Product Development to Stores, Merchandising & Buying, E-commerce, and Operations.
Dustin’s leadership impact at Macy’s has been felt in various capacities. He was one of the early adopters to Omnichannel and left the Macy’s Buying Office in 2009 to become the VP of Men’s at Macys.com. He was an instrumental leader in growing Macys.com to its current size of +$5.0B US Dollars and the 4th largest retail website in the USA.
Dustin has also been the lead sponsor of the Women’s Active and Macy’s Health and Wellness strategies since 2011. Macy’s has taken substantial market share in these categories since that time growing over $700M.
In his last position, Dustin oversaw the Licensed, New Business Development, Vendor Collaboration and Global Fashion Forecasting offices. He comes to Macy’s China Ltd with diverse experience, disruptive thinking and yet the respect for and sensitivity to different cultures.
Dustin is joined in Hong Kong with his wife, Nikki Jones, and their two children, Alissa and Shiloh.
